We're two trauma holders of an OSDD-1 system. We were once part of the core (i.e. the original), but things change. The core was never able to to form an identity, heavily due to trauma. Because of this, she was a median subsystem and functioned as the shell. Eventually, we broke off. The core went further back into the headspace, but Cattarina stayed in the front. Later Violette broke off and separated from her. We take turns occupying the body's consciousness. That's how it is right now, anyway. But yeah. We've been through some shit.
What actually started our plurality wasn't trauma, exactly. It was moving back and forth between the EU and the US several times before we were six. The first time we moved, we left our home country at age 2½ when our sense of self was coming online. (This also started our BPD.) Or maybe that counts as trauma, we don't know. Of course, the abuse that was heaped on us later made everything worse, but that's not what started it.
A long time ago we started drawing, painting and writing as a means to cope with the shit happening to us and going on around us. And, because the world's coming to an end and we're all about to die (as of May 2025), and since we started painting again, we decided to reboot our website and start connecting with people. And here we are. :3
And no, we can't pretend to be a singlet and "normal". Any time we tried to get anything started while hiding our mental illness, it caused a breakdown and we had to stop everything and start a again. And to reiterate, the world's coming to an end and we're all about to die. We might as well be ourselves for once, and we've officially lost patience with normies anyway.
